Location Access: Always
Automatic recording in the background requires MileFree to have Always location access.
Precise Location
Precise Location should be on so route and mileage calculations have the location accuracy required by the tracker.
Motion & Fitness
MileFree uses motion permission as part of automatic driving detection on a real iPhone.
Background App Refresh
Background App Refresh should be available for reliable background behavior.
Automatic Trip Recording
The feature itself must be enabled inside MileFree. The app includes a readiness screen that shows which required setting still needs attention.
If a trip is missing
Confirm all items above, check that automatic trip recording is enabled, and remember that GPS reception and iOS background restrictions can affect detection. If the issue continues, contact support with your iPhone model, iOS version, and MileFree version.
